Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

The first guitar I bought. I purchased it about 10 years ago and it has been through numerous moves, parties (spillt beverages, smoke, and general havoc) It has withstood everything - it looks a bit rough, but still plays and sounds good for a beginner guitar.

It's a laminate body - doesn't sustain like a solid body. Other than that its a great low priced guitar. My only real complaints now are due to wear and tear (frets are worn pretty bad in spots)

Other than the laminated body - the construction is superb for an entry model guitar - I think I may have tightened the jack-nut and probably cleaned the pots and switch - but definitely have not given it much TLC - and it still sounds respectable

I'm giving this unit a 4, based on the price/quality ratio. Obviously it doesn't match a Fender USA model, but it is only 1/4 of the price.
